Girls soccer: Indians trounce Port Chester, 9-0

The John Jay girls soccer team bounced back from Tuesday's loss to Byram Hills by routing Port Chester on Thursday at home, 9-0.

Zoe Boyd and Nicole Silenok led the scoring with two goals each, with other goals scored by Lauren Hafkemeyer, Claudia d'Ottillie, Claire Cirillo, Kelsey Davey and Nathalie Lavelant.

Boyd also had two assists, with single assists by Davey, Katie DeLuca, Hannah Casill and Emily Johnston.

Kelly Sposato (one save) and Stephanie Riocci (two saves) combined in goal for the shutout.

John Jay improved to 4-2-1 on the season. Port Chester is now 2-4.
